Our educational programme is currently implemented in several European countries, where it has generated significant interest among a wide range of educational institutions. As a result of this positive reception, a number of centres have requested the development of new pedagogical resources linked to the “Babo the Dragon” project.

In response to this demand, an eTwinning project has been launched in collaboration with educational centres in Portugal, Ireland, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Spain, Turkey and Poland. The main objective of this initiative is to develop new educational resources aimed at second language learning in early childhood, as well as to evaluate their impact across different European education systems.

Furthermore, thanks to the continuous training of the Baby Erasmus team in the use of artificial intelligence tools applied to education, a wide range of materials tailored to early childhood education is being developed. These include educational songs, teaching materials, games, crosswords based on the vocabulary featured in the audiovisual content of “Babo the Dragon”, colouring worksheets and 3D printable models of the characters.

These resources, designed with both a pedagogical and playful approach, are highly engaging for children and fully aligned with the intended language learning objectives. Repetition and motivation are key elements in second language acquisition, and the integration of these materials is proving to have a very positive impact on pupils’ linguistic development.

Within this project, the “Babo Traveller” initiative also stands out. Through this activity, the main character travels across the participating countries accompanied by a suitcase containing a variety of educational materials. Each centre hosts this experience for one month, fostering cultural and educational exchange among participants.

As an additional innovative feature, Baby Erasmus has developed .stl files that allow for the 3D printing of characters and representative settings such as their house, school and car. This approach enables children to physically interact with the elements of the programme, reinforcing learning through symbolic play and the creation of their own stories in the second language.

Thanks to this initiative, a growing number of educational centres across Europe have shown interest in Baby Erasmus resources, consolidating the “Babo the Dragon” programme as a benchmark educational tool, currently used in centres in at least eleven European countries.
